Anders Mogensen Jazztrommer, Danmark

I mere end to årtier har trommeslageren Anders Mogensen været en af de mest eftertragtede musikere på den danske såvel som den internationale jazzscene. Han har været medlem af banebrydende bands som When Granny Sleeps, Jakob Anderskov Trio, Doky Brothers, Kasper Tranberg Yakuza Zhuffle, Lovedale og Copenhagen Art Ensemble. Han har turneret og indspillet med Jazz Greats såsom: Bob Berg, David Liebman, Steve Swallow, Marc Johnson, Brecker Brothers, Gary Thomas, Django Bates, Tim Hagans, Cuong Vu, Lew Soloff og Ray Anderson.

Anders har en stilling som lektor og leder af jazzafdelingen på Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium, og han har holdt clinics og workshops i hele Europa, USA, Japan og Brasilien.

Studied drums from age 6 and classical piano from age 10.

Graduated from Holstebro Gymnasium 1989.

Education;

Pre-educated for classical-conservatory, Holstebro, 1988.

Studied at Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA,  from 1990-1991.

Graduated from The Rhythmic Conservatory, Copenhagen Denmark 1996
